We have just had the warmest July since records began. The average maximum was 13.4℃, two degrees above average. That's 56℉. Only eight nights dropped below freezing, the average is seventeen nights.
Today was cold and windy but the garden can sense spring coming.

In opposition to your weather, in Poland currently we have midsummer and it's been the hottest summer since 1994. Last Monday we had almost 38C degrees at noon, which was unbearable.

ReplyDeleteThe mild winter should be good for your garden. We are having record heat for August at the end of a very nice summer. Just a few more weeks and we will begin to cool down again.
ReplyDeleteThe weather has been fickle the world over it seems. 100° in Poland? We have had that this summer too and with the humidity, like Dewberry said, "Unbearable". My concern has been our winters with no snow and 80° in January. Plants and animals must take a lot of adjustment to contend with what nature throws their way.
